ABOUT ME
On our journey of uncertainty through life, our biggest challenges quite often blindside us on some idle weekday. During those times, we often seek answers from our peers, friends, elders, teachers, religion and the written word. We share these crossroads with others to enlighten our own perspectives. As a qualified emergency physician, I am privileged to observe the world from a different side. Daily I witness people having the worst and, on occasion, the best days of their lives. I hope to illuminate these crucial, and sometimes dark, moments of life, in a search for clarity and truth. I believe that if you learn to experience life not only through your own senses, but also through the perceptions of your fellow voyagers, your view of life will be completely transformed.
I am an ex South African, proud Canadian that lives in beautiful British Columbia.
"The only certainty in life is uncertainty and thus:
Accept what is."
"HENK MUNI"
Origin of my Nom de Plume
When I was a young boy, I harassed my siblings incessantly and thus one particular day my favourite uncle, Oom Piet, called out to me in Afrikaans: “Henkeman, Henkeman... moenie!” Translation: Henkeman don’t! My dad caught this on camera hence the nickname stuck and was abbreviated to HENK MUNI
